Website! This site is dedicated to furthering the art of fine woodworking and home building; the art of the Shokunin, the skilled Craftsman.
Truly fine craftsmanship seems to be a dying art, practiced by a very few, mostly older men and hobbyists. Where it is still being practiced commercially, its value is not recognized by builders and developers whose main goal is to do things cheaply. This site is intended to inspire professional home builders and woodworkers to further their craftsmanship and to give homeowners a resource of information of what their homes could be.
